1) Surprise European Destination - for my birthday (September 2013), my parents are going to book us a weekend away somewhere in Europe. The only condition is, is that it has to be a country I've never been to before. I don't know when this is going to happen (sometime in the next few months), so it's all very exciting!
2) Romania - I have a few friends who live here (most from university, one from volunteering in Honduras) and we've talked about going to visit one of them for a few days this winter. I'm really looking forward to this but have no idea what to expect - other than a lot of snow.
3) New York - I've always wanted to go here, probably mostly due to watching Friends growing up and then Gossip Girl. Now that one of my university friends has moved there, it seems silly not to visit both him and this city.
4) Cyprus - my cousin has just got engaged and the wedding is going to be here in 2015. I'm thinking about combining it with another country nearby, one which I haven't yet been to. This could well be Turkey, but with relations between the two countries as they are, I would have to go to Turkey first then Cyprus, since you can't do it the other way around. Otherwise, perhaps somewhere in North Africa? Watch this space.
I definitely want to get some more volunteering in the developing world in too. This will depend on internships and jobs etc. but I will keep you posted. At the moment, I'm leaning towards Africa - it's been a while.
